Canine Spirit is inspired by Alexa Maithé's ongoing exploration of mythology, spirituality, dreams, and the natural world. The painting draws from the Egyptian deity Thot, the god of wisdom, knowledge, writing, and divine balance.

During meditation, Alexa envisioned a loyal canine spirit standing beside Thoth—a compassionate guardian and silent guide, offering protection, clarity, and unwavering presence during moments of leadership and important decisions. While this canine companion is an original symbolic interpretation rather than a figure from Egyptian mythology, it represents the qualities of loyalty, discernment, and service.

Canine Spirit embodies the wisdom that true leadership is rooted in balance, compassion, and a deep connection to the unseen forces that guide us.
