Alaska B'atz is an original oil painting created entirely from imagination, without references or sketches. Painted intuitively, this ancestral human-animal entity emerged naturally, revealing itself through the creative process rather than from a predetermined idea.

Inspired by the Mayan sacred calendar, the Chol Q'ij, its name comes from the nahual B'atz—the symbol of creation, artistry, wisdom, and the playful spirit of the monkey. These qualities are woven throughout the painting, reflecting transformation, curiosity, and the subconscious mind.
